Rob Jones – CPR & Resilience Trainer & Survivor
The Idiopath
In June 2024, Rob Jonesโs heart suddenly stopped.
There was no warning, no time to prepare and no expectation that this could happen to him. Rob experienced an idiopathic sudden cardiac arrest and required approximately 18 minutes of CPR before he was resuscitated.
Today, Rob is a survivor, speaker and CPR advocate, and through The Idiopath, he uses his lived experience to help others understand what happens when every second really does count.
Every Second Counts is an evidence-based keynote designed for Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month in October. Rather than being a presentation solely about Robโs story, it uses that experience as a powerful starting point to explore the reality of sudden cardiac arrest and, most importantly, what ordinary people can do when it happens.
