DESCRIPTION:Join us to network with other local businesses and learn from our guest speakers in a relaxed and informal setting. \n\n\n\n\nAre you wanting to meet other local businesses to help your business grow? \nOur events are designed to help delegates make meaningful connections in a relaxed and supportive setting. We’ll help you get to know other attendees through natural conversation and shared interests. \nCome as you are\, join the conversation at your own pace\, and leave with new contacts and fresh ideas. \nOur guest speakers for this event: \nRob Jones – CPR & Resilience Trainer & Survivor \nThe Idiopath \nIn June 2024\, Rob Jones’s heart suddenly stopped. \nThere was no warning\, no time to prepare and no expectation that this could happen to him. Rob experienced an idiopathic sudden cardiac arrest and required approximately 18 minutes of CPR before he was resuscitated. \nToday\, Rob is a survivor\, speaker and CPR advocate\, and through The Idiopath\, he uses his lived experience to help others understand what happens when every second really does count. \nEvery Second Counts is an evidence-based keynote designed for Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month in October. Rather than being a presentation solely about Rob’s story\, it uses that experience as a powerful starting point to explore the reality of sudden cardiac arrest and\, most importantly\, what ordinary people can do when it happens. \nElizabeth McLafferty – Little Dreambug Charity \nFrom a worried parent to a fundraising mission — turning our experience of exceptional care at King’s Mill Hospital into giving back to the children on Ward 25 \nOur aim is to create a safe\, friendly environment where delegates can build connections with confidence. Many of our attendees tell us they’re surprised by how relaxed and enjoyable the experience feels. \nFree to attend and all local businesses are welcome (no area restrictions).
