A customer at Mansfield Innovation Centre has recently received an award from the SME Midlands Enterprise Awards, being named Best Residential Block Management Services Provider 2023 – Nottinghamshire.
Organised by SME News and now in its sixth year, this is a prestigious awards program that showcases the achievements of businesses operating in the dynamic Midlands region.
Based in the East Midlands and serving the areas of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, Block Property Solutions Limited (BPS) is a managing agent that specialises in property management for estates and residential blocks to a client base consisting of Leaseholders, Resident Management Companies (RMC), Right to Manage (RTM), Freeholders, and Developers.
Experienced in turning challenges into solutions, the firm’s aim is to offer a unique approach to all its clients. “We are well aware that every client has their own unique requirements” elaborates Founder, Shahin Ahad. “With our vast experience at hand, we are able to guarantee the most tailored solutions and services to match any of those needs”.
Recently, for its commitment to its clients, the firm gained notable recognition in the Midlands Enterprise Awards and was named Best Residential Block Management Services Provider 2023 – Nottinghamshire.
Shahin attributes part of BPS’s success to the guidance and support provided by Mansfield Innovation Centre, their main base of operations. BPS joined the centre two years ago and throughout their time at Mansfield Innovation Centre, Innovation Director David Smith has supported Shahin to develop their strategy, systems and processes. David has also helped the business to secure three separate Growth grant awards: to bring in external, specialist skills and invest in new IT hardware and industry-specific software to support the growth of their business. One of the most important aspects of the support has been the one-to-one coaching of Shahin as an individual and helping him to manage a growing business.
During the time that David has been working with Shahin, his business has grown by over 400%, which serves as a remarkable achievement. Here’s what Shahin has said about their success so far on their business journey and the help that they’ve had along the way:
“Receiving this award has really motivated me to push onwards and upwards with my business. I also want to thank the team at Mansfield Innovation Centre, in particular David for all the coaching and support that you have provided. It is all very much appreciated and has been extremely helpful to get me to where we are today.”
David also had this comment to add:
“Shahin is a very talented individual and a credit to his industry. His attention to detail is second to none and he is devoted to providing a first-class service to his clients. This award is hugely deserved and it’s a pleasure to be able to support Block Property Solutions in their journey.”
