Mansfield in Bloom: A Season of Community, Connection, and Care
The past few months at Mansfield have been nothing short of inspiring. From boosting mental health awareness to supporting local causes and hosting fun-filled events. Here's a look back at what we've been up to during these spring months.
🍫 Cream Egg Easter Egg Hunt
We kicked things off with some light-hearted fun with an Easter Egg Hunt around the centre. Customers were hunting down hidden treats and It was great to see a bit of friendly competition in the mix!
🐣 Easter Collection for John Eastwood Hospice
Next, we turned our attention to giving back. We were proud to support John Eastwood Hospice with a special Easter collection. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we gathered a wonderful selection of Easter goodies, helping bring comfort to patients during the holiday. It’s a small gesture that carries a lot of heart.
⚽ Fundraising at Mansfield Town FC
Our Easter giving continued at the Mansfield Town FC grounds, where we all helped with fundraising on match day. With incredible support from fans and volunteers, we raised a total of £1413.13. With John Eastwood saying “It would not have been possible to do without you all.” There’s nothing quite like the buzz of game day combined with the power of community spirit.
🤝 Business Networking Event
We also hosted our second Business Networking Event, led by the award-winning Sophie Wragg of Be Your Best Version and Katie Ash, Head of Employment Law at Banner Jones Solicitors. The event was a real success, sparking new relationships and opportunities across our business community.
🌱 Mental Health Essentials with Lee
Rounding out our Easter activities was a powerful session on Mental Health Essentials, led by Lee Morris. The workshop provided practical strategies for supporting mental wellbeing—both personally and professionally. It was an open, honest, and empowering event that left attendees with valuable tools to recognise early signs of stress, burnout and common conditions and lots more!
Thank you to everyone who took part, donated, volunteered, or simply showed up with a smile. We’re already looking forward to what’s next—and we hope to see you there!
