Celebrating 10 Years of Dedication and Leadership: A Milestone for Our Centre Manager
This July, we are incredibly proud to celebrate a remarkable milestone at Mansfield Innovation Centre — the 10-year anniversary of our Centre Manager, Hannah Frear.
Since joining the team in July 2015 as a Centre Support Assistant, Hannah has shown complete dedication, professionalism, and a passion for helping businesses thrive. Her journey through the organisation is a true testament to hard work, growth, and unwavering commitment.
In March 2017, Hannah was promoted to Assistant Centre Manager, where her genuine care for the community truly began to shine. Her positive impact was felt across the centre, supporting both our internal team and the ambitious businesses that call Mansfield Innovation Centre home.
By August 2019, she stepped confidently and effortlessly into the role of Centre Manager — a position she has held with distinction ever since. Over the past 10 years Hannah has played a central part in shaping the supportive, collaborative environment that Mansfield Innovation Centre is known for today.
Hannah says she “started at the centre on 15th July 2015 as a young Mum who’d had an extended maternity leave and had cruelly been made redundant from my previous role. I was finding my feet in the world of work again and I was scared! I didn’t know how to balance being a mum, a friend, a colleague and whatever else I needed to be, just ME!
But I’m still here, thriving! Now a mum to a nearly teenager and I’ve worked my way up the ladder to become Centre Manager in 2019! I wouldn’t have got here without my amazing team, who I thank my lucky stars for everyday!”
Hannah’s knowledge of the centre is second to none — she knows every square foot of every office, which key code opens which door, and the history of every business that has walked through our doors. This unparalleled attention to detail reflects not only her incredible memory and professionalism, but also the genuine pride she takes in supporting our tenants and team.
From welcoming new entrepreneurs, supporting growing businesses, to championing local charities and building lasting partnerships, Hannah’s influence is woven into the very fabric of our centre. Her approachable leadership style, deep knowledge of the business community, and unwavering drive have been instrumental in our continued success.
Please join us in congratulating Hannah on her 10-year anniversary. We are truly lucky to have such a dedicated colleague, and we can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings.
Here’s to you, Hannah!
