Rove!-ing into a new home
A motorhome business that started out in a small office at Mansfield Innovation Centre has now grown to more than 40 staff and is about to move it’s Mansfield operation into a new dedicated retail forecourt, head office and vehicle preparation centre.
Buy My Motorhome, a motorhome trade buyer, joined Mansfield Innovation Centre in 2009 as a small business with growth ambitions. They initially took up one of the smaller offices, moving to larger space within the Centre as the business grew.
Following its rapid growth, a restructure in 2022 saw the business launch a direct retail business, Rove! Motorhomes, with the new management team of Adam Reek, Natalie and James Drewery. Rove! supply quality vehicles at competitive prices and have a strong customer focus; aiming to sell the right vehicle for each customer’s individual needs.
In addition to the Mansfield Innovation Centre, Rove! have also had a retail site at Gunthorpe since 2019, and further extended their operations to a new site at Selston in 2024. They are now graduating from Mansfield Innovation Centre to a new, customer-focused retail forecourt at the Millenium Business Park, Mansfield.
Adam Reek said “Mansfield Innovation Centre have been influential in the growth of our business over the years. They have a keen team offering support at different levels from front of house to accessing funding and a first-rate café! We wouldn’t be where we are today without the support of Mansfield Innovation Centre and would highly recommend them to like-minded, aspirational businesses.”
Rove! have more than doubled their operation since launch, now employing over 40 staff and holding over 100 motorhomes in stock at any time. All their vehicles are prepared to a high standard by their team of in-house engineers and mechanics, to ensure provision of quality vehicles that the customer can trust. Their commitment to customer service is demonstrated further though their designated aftersales team, taking care of any post-sales queries from customers.
Hannah Frear, Centre Manager at Mansfield Innovation Centre, said: “We’re incredibly proud of what the team at Rove! have achieved and are pleased to have played a small part in their success. ”
