Collecting with Compassion: Supporting John Eastwood Hospice

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been collecting donations for a cause that’s incredibly close to many hearts here at the centre—John Eastwood Hospice. With the incredible support of our business community, we’ve gathered a wonderful selection of items to show our support for the incredible work that is done each and every day. 

From unused gifts to bottles of wine, chocolates, kids toys, sweets, and toiletries, our networks generosity has been heart warming. These items will help stock tombola’s, raffles, and other fundraising events that John Eastwood runs throughout the year, all in support of their vital services. It’s been a joy to see such kindness in action—thank you to everyone who has contributed!

For those who may not be familiar, John Eastwood Hospice is so much more than a building. It’s a place filled with compassion, care, and a deep sense of purpose. The hospice exists to affirm life and improve its quality, providing support to patients with life-limiting conditions and their families.

Whenever possible, John Eastwood helps patients return to the comfort of their own homes, making sure the right care is in place so they can enjoy a brighter, more independent life. Their approach to care is grounded in dignity, empathy, and respect, focusing not only on physical needs but also emotional and spiritual well-being.

The team at John Eastwood is dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming environment, offering tailored services that support patients and loved ones through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Whether it’s symptom control, counselling, complementary therapies, or simply a comforting presence—every detail is centred around the person, not just the illness.

Supporting this amazing organisation means being part of something truly meaningful. Every bar of chocolate, every bottle of bubble bath, and every soft toy donated helps make their fundraising events possible and keeps the care going.
